Overview

Consulting with a concrete deliverable

Many businesses buy technology piecemeal: a program here, a computer there, a cloud subscription nobody remembers. The result is cost without a plan and risks that stay hidden until something happens.

Our consulting starts from the needs of your business, not from products. We review infrastructure, applications, processes and security, and finish with a report of findings, cost estimates and an order of priority. You can carry it out with us or with any partner you choose.

What's included

IT infrastructure assessment

We examine computers, servers, network, backups and accounts. We record what works, what is outdated and what puts your business at risk.

Security and data protection

We check MFA, permissions, updates, backups and third-party access. We help you with the technical measures GDPR requires and tell you whether the NIS2 directive may apply to you.

Cloud and software

We compare on-premises and cloud options such as Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS or Hetzner based on your costs and usage. We help you choose an ERP, CRM or collaboration tools without lock-in to one provider.

Digital processes

We find tasks done on paper, in Excel or by typing the same data twice. We suggest how to automate them with the tools you already have or with new ones.

Budget and upgrade plan

We turn the findings into a quarterly plan with cost estimates. We help you prepare the technical specifications when the investment is linked to a funding programme.

Support during delivery

We evaluate supplier quotes, coordinate the transition and train your staff. We stay with you until the new solution works properly.

A technology health check in 8 questions

Answer yes or no honestly. Every no is a point worth looking at, and next to it you will see what you can do.

Do you have backups in two different places, and have you recently tested a restore?
Is multi-factor authentication (MFA) switched on for all email and cloud accounts?
Are updates installed automatically on computers, servers and the router?
Is your guest Wi-Fi separate from the network your computers use?
Do all the programs you use have legal and active licences?
Is there written documentation with equipment, admin passwords and a network diagram?
Do you know where customer and employee personal data is stored and who has access to it?
If the server fails or the internet goes down, do you know how you will keep working?
How we work

How a consulting engagement works

  1. First conversation

We talk about your business goals and the problems you see. Together we define the scope of the assessment.

  2. Information gathering

We visit your premises, talk to key users and examine the systems. The review does not interrupt your daily work.

  3. Analysis

We assess the findings in terms of risk, cost and impact on your operations. We compare alternative solutions where they exist.

  4. Report and plan

We present a written report with findings, recommendations and a quarterly plan. The report is written for management, not only for technical staff.

  5. Delivery and review

You can carry out the plan with us or with another partner. We recommend a review every year, so the plan stays current.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can't find what you're looking for? Call us or send us a message.

What do we receive from the consulting work?
You receive a written report with an inventory of your infrastructure, findings by risk category and recommendations. It comes with a quarterly delivery plan with cost estimates. We also present it in a meeting to answer your questions.
We are a small business. Do we need consulting?
Small businesses often carry the biggest risks, such as a single backup or shared passwords. A short assessment shows what is worth fixing first, without a large investment.
Do you help us with GDPR?
We help with the technical side: recording systems that hold personal data, access rights, encryption, backups and logs. For legal documents such as policies and contracts, you work with a legal adviser, and we give them the technical details.
Does the NIS2 directive apply to our business?
NIS2 mainly applies to medium and large entities in specific sectors, but it also affects their suppliers. We help you check whether you fall within scope and which technical security measures are needed. The final legal assessment is made with your legal adviser.
Do we have to carry out the plan with you?
No. The plan is written so that any partner you choose can carry it out. If you want, we can take on all or part of it.
Do you help with funding programmes for digital transformation?
We do not submit funding applications. We can, however, prepare the technical specifications and the equipment and software quotes that the consultant handling the application needs.
How long does an assessment take?
It depends on the size of the business, the number of sites and the systems. We set the timeline in the first conversation, before work begins.
Is the first meeting free?
Yes, the first conversation to get to know each other and define the scope is free of charge. The assessment and report are invoiced based on the scope we agree.
