Overview

What IT support for businesses means in practice

Most small businesses do not need their own full-time technician, but they do need someone who knows their systems. We keep a record of your equipment, admin passwords and licences, so every problem is solved without starting from scratch.

The work is mostly done remotely, over a secure connection the user approves. When someone needs to be on site, for hardware, cabling or new equipment, we come to your premises. You can call us only when something comes up, have a monthly subscription or hand over your IT to us completely.

What's included

Helpdesk for your users

Your team asks for help by phone, email or a request on platform.csdynamics.gr. Every request is logged and tracked until it is closed.

Monitoring and updates

We install a monitoring agent on computers and servers. We see drives filling up, failed backups and pending Windows updates before they become a problem.

Microsoft 365 and email

We create and close accounts, and manage licences, shared mailboxes and Teams. We set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC so your email does not end up in spam.

Workstation security

Centrally managed antivirus and EDR, BitLocker disk encryption and control of admin rights. We switch on MFA for all critical accounts.

Backups

We set up backups with Veeam or Acronis to a local NAS and to the cloud. We run test restores, because a backup that has not been tested is not enough.

Network and remote working

We manage the router, switches, Wi-Fi and VPN for people who work away from the office. We deal with your internet provider when the fault is on the line.

IT support in Athens · On site across Attica, remote across Greece

We provide IT support to businesses across Attica. When a visit is needed, we come to central Athens, Piraeus, Marousi, Kifisia, Chalandri, Glyfada, Mesogeia and Thriasio, and the areas around them. Our office is at 122 Alexandras Avenue.

Most requests are solved remotely, so we can support businesses and branches anywhere in Greece. For on-site work outside Attica we agree the schedule in advance.

Because we also handle networks, cameras and Starlink, you have one partner for your office's whole technology setup, from a new employee's computer to the backup internet line.

How we work

How IT support for your business gets started

  1. Introduction and needs

We discuss how many you are, how you work and what is causing you trouble today. The first conversation does not commit you to anything.

  2. Infrastructure inventory

We record computers, network, accounts, licences and backups. We note the areas that need immediate attention.

  3. Recommended model

We recommend a support model and a written scope of work. You know from the start what is covered and what is not.

  4. Onboarding

We install the monitoring and remote access tools and fix anything urgent. We show users how to ask for help.

  5. Ongoing support

We answer requests, carry out scheduled tasks and send you a report. We review the plan when your needs change.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a monthly subscription and pay-as-you-go support?
With pay as you go, you call us when there is a problem and pay for the time worked. With a subscription there is a fixed monthly cost and we also do preventive work, such as monitoring, updates and backup checks. For businesses with several users, a subscription usually means fewer faults.
How is the cost of the monthly subscription calculated?
The cost depends mainly on the number of users and devices, the servers and whether on-site visits are needed. After the infrastructure inventory we send you a written quote with a clear scope of work.
How does remote support work and is it secure?
We use a remote access tool with an encrypted connection and session logging. The user sees what we do on their screen. Access to our accounts is protected with MFA.
Do you cover businesses outside Athens?
Yes. Remote support works from anywhere in Greece. For on-site work outside Attica we agree the visit schedule in advance.
What about our existing systems and our previous technician?
We start with an inventory of what exists and ask for the admin passwords and any documentation. If something is missing, we restore it step by step. We can also work alongside your in-house IT person instead of replacing them.
Is the purchase of equipment and licences included?
Equipment and licences are charged separately from support. We recommend what you need, supply it from brands such as Dell, Lenovo and Microsoft and install it.
Is there a minimum contract term?
Term conditions are set out in the quote and depend on the model. Pay-as-you-go support has no commitment.
What does IT support for businesses include?
A helpdesk for your users, monitoring of computers and servers, updates, backups with test restores, workstation security, Microsoft 365 and email administration, and network and VPN management. The exact scope, on-site visits and response times are written into the quote.
How much does IT support cost for a small business?
There is no single price for everyone. The cost depends on the number of users and devices, whether you have servers, how often someone needs to be on site and which model you choose: pay as you go, monthly subscription or fully managed. After a free chat and an inventory of your setup we send you a written quote.
Is an external IT partner better than hiring our own employee?
For most small businesses a full-time technician does not have enough work, and one person cannot know everything or cover holidays and sick leave. An external partner gives you access to a team with networking, security and cloud skills. If you already have an IT person, we can work alongside them.
How quickly do you respond to a problem?
Response times are set out in writing in our agreement, according to the priority of the request. A problem that stops the whole business is handled before a request for a new account. Most requests are solved remotely, without waiting for a visit.
What are your support hours?
We are available Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00 and Saturday 10:00 to 16:00. Requests can also be logged by email or on platform.csdynamics.gr, so nothing gets lost. System updates are done outside your working hours.
How do you protect a business from ransomware and data loss?
With several layers: centrally managed antivirus and EDR, MFA on critical accounts, updates, limited admin rights and backups to a local NAS and to the cloud. Most importantly, we run test restores, so you know the backup works before you need it.
Do you support sole traders and very small offices?
Yes. An office with a few computers has the same backup, email and security needs as a larger company, just on a smaller scale. For these cases pay-as-you-go support is often the most sensible place to start.
