Large sites, tough conditions
Aspropyrgos and Magoula host large logistics centres, with extensive warehouses and several buildings on the same plot. A site like this needs a fibre backbone between buildings, managed switches at every point and Wi-Fi for scanners and forklifts.
In the industrial plants of Elefsina and Mandra, network equipment often sits next to machinery, in dust, heat and vibration. We use industrial switches and properly protected enclosures, and we separate the production network from the office network with VLANs and a firewall. That way a problem in the office does not reach the production line.
Large perimeter fences need a different approach from a shop. We plan bullet and varifocal cameras for each section of the perimeter, with infrared lighting for night-time, cabling or wireless links where distances are long, and an NVR with capacity for every camera.

In Thriasio, Starlink is mainly used as an independent second line, so the warehouse or plant can keep issuing invoices and communicating when the main connection fails. We mount the dish on a roof or pole away from chimneys, cranes and tall stacks of goods, and connect it to a router with automatic failover.

Do you come to the Thriasio industrial zone?
Yes. We book an appointment at your premises and, on large sites, arrange the survey with the facilities manager so we see every building in one visit. We follow the site's safety rules and protective equipment requirements.
Can cameras go on a fence without cabling its full length?
Over long distances we use point-to-point wireless links between poles, or fibre where there is ducting. Power comes from a local PoE switch or, where there is no mains power, from a solution we design on site.
What do IoT sensors do in a factory?
They measure temperature, vibration, power consumption or level and send the data over LoRaWAN to a dashboard. When a value goes out of range, the shift supervisor is alerted before the problem stops the plant.
How do you separate the production network from the office?
With separate VLANs and firewall rules between them. Production machines see only what they need, and remote access for manufacturers goes only through a controlled VPN.
