The equipment we recommend for small businesses
For most small businesses we recommend PoE IP cameras and a small NVR with a surveillance-grade hard drive, from manufacturers such as Hikvision or Dahua. For very small jobs, such as two cameras in an office, a Reolink setup can be enough. We will not recommend more equipment than you need.
Wi-Fi cameras with an SD card are cheap to buy, but they drop signal, get stolen together with the card and are hard to manage. We avoid them for the main system and use them only where cable is genuinely impossible.

One technician for network, computers and cameras
In small businesses the cameras share the same router as the card terminal, the computers and the customer Wi-Fi. When something goes wrong, the camera technician blames the network and the network technician blames the cameras. As an IT company we cover both.
We put the cameras on a separate network, so they cannot see the computers or slow the till, and we change the default passwords. If you already have monthly IT support with us, the cameras go into the same checks.

How much does CCTV installation for a small shop in Chalandri cost?
For a small shop the cost depends mainly on the number of cameras, how easily the cable runs, the resolution and the drive size. A system with a few cameras in a space with a suspended ceiling is much simpler than one with cables in visible trunking. We do not publish prices, but we give you a free estimate from photos.
Can I use the router and internet I already have?
Usually yes. The cameras connect to a PoE switch and from there to your router, on a separate network. We check the line's upload speed, because that decides how well you can watch the cameras remotely.
Do I need a recorder for two cameras?
It is not always necessary, but we recommend it. A small NVR keeps recordings on a drive locked away in a safe place, while an SD card inside the camera is lost if someone unscrews the camera. For very simple cases a card or cloud setup may be enough, and we will tell you so.
Can I put a camera in the practice waiting room?
Only if there is a real security reason, and with a sign before the entrance. Cameras do not go in consulting rooms or where patients change. For your case ask your legal adviser or the Data Protection Authority.
How long are recordings kept?
We set the system to delete old recordings automatically, normally within 15 days at most. If an incident happens, you export the clip and keep it for as long as the case needs.
Can my business partner view the cameras too?
Yes, with their own account. We can set them to see live video only or recordings too, and remove access when needed without changing your password.
Do you also cover Vrilissia, Agia Paraskevi and Cholargos?
Yes, all the northern and north-eastern suburbs, as well as the whole of Attica. The site survey is free, and for small spaces we can start with an estimate from photos.
My office is in a flat. Can I see who is at the door?
Yes. A small camera inside the office door, or a video intercom, shows on your phone who is ringing without recording the shared corridor. If you want a camera in the corridor or at the building entrance, you need a decision of the owners' general assembly.
